Business Intelligence — From your data to decisions the business understands
When every area looks at a different number, deciding gets slow. Caleidos brings your sources into a single truth and presents it in dashboards leadership reads at a glance, to decide with calm and with evidence.
Business Intelligence (BI) is the practice of turning the data you already generate — sales, finance, operations, customers — into clear information for decision-making. Data analytics is the step that connects that data with concrete business questions: what is happening, why, and what to do about it. Caleidos designs the BI and analytics layer on AWS so directors and managers work with reliable, timely and traceable indicators, without depending on scattered spreadsheets or reports that arrive late.
What you get with Caleidos
A single source of truth
We bring information from your systems (ERP, CRM, finance, operations) into one consistent model. Every area reads the same number, so meetings move toward decisions instead of arguing where each figure comes from.
Clear executive dashboards
Dashboards built for decision-makers: a few well-chosen indicators, easy to read on any device. Your business KPIs in plain sight, up to date, without having to ask someone for a report every time.
Data-driven decisions
We move from "I think" to "the data shows". We define with you the questions that move the business and build the analytics that answer them, to plan with evidence and reduce uncertainty.
Reliable, traceable information
Every metric you report has a known origin and quality validations behind it. You know where each number comes from, which gives confidence to back decisions before the board or a regulator.
A solid data foundation
BI pays off when the underlying data is well built. We raise that foundation — Data Lakes, source integration and pipelines — through our Data Engineering & Analytics practice, so the decision layer rests on orderly, current data.
Data ready for AI
A well-built data platform today is also the fuel for tomorrow's AI. We leave your information structured to feed assistants and models whenever your organization wants to take that step, without redoing the path.
How we work
Understand the decision
We start from the business questions that matter: which decisions you want to make better and which indicators support them. Scope follows from there, not the other way around.
Unify the information
We connect your sources and bring them into a consistent model on AWS, leaning on the data foundation our Data Engineering team builds. One truth, orderly and traceable.
Visualize to decide
We design the executive dashboards and reports your team actually uses. Few numbers, well presented, with the reading each role needs.
Evolve with the business
As your questions change, the BI layer evolves with you. Caleidos Lens© supports the operation so the information stays reliable and current.
KasNet
A Data Lake that backs decisions
We built the data platform on AWS that today feeds the client's strategic decisions: integration of internal and external sources, quality and traceability of information, ready to scale.

What we get asked the most
What is business intelligence?
Business Intelligence (BI) is the set of practices and tools that turn an organization's data into useful information for deciding. In practice it means gathering data from different systems, organizing it into a single reliable source, and presenting it in dashboards and reports that leadership can read easily to guide the business.
What is the difference between business intelligence and data analytics?
Business intelligence focuses on showing what is happening and how your indicators evolve, usually in dashboards and reports. Data analytics goes a step further and seeks to explain why it happens and what to do, with deeper analysis. They are complementary: BI sets the picture of the business and analytics helps interpret it to decide.
Where do I start, with BI or with the data foundation?
It is almost always best to first ensure data is well integrated and orderly; without that foundation, dashboards show numbers no one trusts. That is why BI rests on a solid data layer. At Caleidos we approach both together: we raise the foundation with Data Engineering and, on top of it, the Business Intelligence and analytics layer. We define it with you in an initial assessment.
Which BI tools do you work with?
We build the data platform on AWS and connect the visualization layer to the tool your organization prefers: Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau or Metabase. What matters is that the data model is reliable; on that foundation, dashboards work in the tool your team already uses.
Do I need all my data in order before starting?
No. It is common to start with information scattered across systems and spreadsheets. Part of the work is precisely to integrate and order those sources. We start from the most important decisions and progress incrementally, showing value early without waiting for everything to be perfect.
How do you ensure the numbers are reliable?
We apply quality validations and end-to-end traceability: each metric has a known origin and rules that verify its consistency. That way you can back a figure before the board or a regulator knowing exactly where it comes from.
